Speaking of blogs we like and respect, The Practice by Jonathan Stein and Shane Jimison is one of the best “post-Foonberg” practice builders I’ve seen. The Practice is subtitled “Helping law students and lawyers learn everything they wanted to know about law practice management, but did not learn in law school”.
I first noticed and mentioned this blog–as I recall, Jonathan and Shane don’t like the term “blawg”–in a November post. Consistently good on both big picture conceptual things and filling-in-the-details items, The Practice is a must-read for going out on your own–and it’s far and away the best I’ve seen if you are young or relatively fresh out of law school. And they post a lot–always something new, fresh and often surprising there. A recent piece I liked is “What Are You Selling?“
