Yesterday was the day the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law revised the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.The Rules, dating back to 1976, are more than 30 years old.1 A revision of the Rules was long overdue to ensure that they continue to meet the needs of their users, reflecting best practices in the field of international arbitration.2
